Curry's Injury

One good man down ! Warriors are already caught up in a loosing streak in the beginning of the season isn't looking good considering that one of there leading scorers is down with an injury. Looking forward , its only natural someone from the lineup to pick up the slack. It would seem that Warriors are trending toward a season that isn't looking like a very impressive one as far as W columns are concerned. There last meet was with the Miami Heat and it was wasn't a good sight to watch as the Heat just literally smashed them but it wasn't till the fourth quarter the Warriors just could no longer contain the offensive force of Miami. Although the Warriors have been able to have a few good runs to the basket it just want enough to sustain themselves to the end of the game.

Warrior Team Notes

Loosing some games can make a bad impression on the teams progress but that can be something to build on as far as something to work on. Team has issues but With Lee back on the court and Ekpe Udoh coming back early January could mean something positive is coming. Looking forward , there is still time for this season to be salvaged. Some changes in the lineups well can make a difference as well, overall there might need to be a newcomer to change the perspective of the minds of the players to perform at there best at all times. New owners to the ball club is the beginning , but if things don't pick up in the next 15 games there could be some big decisions in the ball club to make. I always looked at the Golden State Warriors as a team growing, but to what extent in the future would I say they are Mature enough ?

San Freancisco 16 Green Bay 32

Was head to head game with the offense in the beginning of the Half .Then in starting of the second quarter the Niners lost there momentum to the Green bay packers offense. They where out of control , tearing the defense apart of the Niners. Was a very good game to watch in the beginning where there was a a good glimpse of a good run when Vernon Davis took in a TD in the 2nd quarter. With the Niners  head down today with a loss to the Greenbay, hopefully give the offensive coordinators and defensive as well something to look at to improve upon. Next year could mean many changes due to the team not making the Playoffs. From all over the press there will be some major changes in place to get to the team in on the same page for a more successful season.Big question is who will coach the San Francisco Forty Niners next season, and what prospects will they bring in?New Year is about to begin so we all will see soon.

Ex Warrior Factor

When ever the Golden State Warriors play a team that has a ex player at they get handed a loss . In relation to last nights game where they played the Phoenix Suns and lost to the sportsman's ship of Jason Richardson. The game was very offensive minded to the get go. Rather interesting game to watch when players can run and gun, but there is a point in the game you would think that defense needs to be steeped up. Theirs no game loss to be more felt than to get beaten by ex team mates. Seems more like a revenge statement than anything else. Monta Ellis put up some big numbers , but not enough to sustain a win.
There are many ex-warriors around the league that have become superstars on other teams and made the Warriors crack. Some of which are Latrell Speewell, Antwain Jamison, Jason Richardson, Mickael Pietrus, Derek Fisher, Mike Dunleavy, Troy Murphy, Al Harrington, Gilbert Arenas. Players that once played with the Warriors usually do much better on other teams for some reason or other. The Warriors for some reason where not able to utilize the skills of players. Expectations may just be to high when players come into the league, and they just get frustrated with the program they are in and just want a different perspective. Or the Warriors Coach and team management just cut players because of slow progress. Whatever the issues are, it must be a common issue in the league where players are let go regardless. New fresh blood comes in the league plus players retiring every year and that is a major reason for players loosing there spots on the floor.
Warrior fans that come to games or watch there team play often feel that the ex-warriors seem to get under there skin when they get beaten by them.
Oh and go WARRIORS!!!!

49ners Winning Division Not Likely

Troy Smiths performance last game was very short of lets say another version of Alex Smith on the field. Its was almost like as if they won by the a thin line. One good throw and that was about it for Troy who was very quite through the game, rest where hand offs. The Teams perspective was concentrated on its defensive nature rather than anything offensive. A team in the NFL can only be a threat if many areas of there game is utilized on the field. In the case of the San Francisco Forty Niners its more like a floating offense that is lost in transition and a defense that has no real plan or when to strike. When they are its never consistent it more like a teeter tooter game. Regardless I support the teams efforts and like I believe the team needs a direction and the team to believe in themselves more than they have ever, because it starts with that , TO believe !

Winning Key Factors

One Reason teams become a victim on the road games is that they cant convert them into wins. Without that one element into the seasons success they will not survive. Players often think that there is a reason for not winning on the road would be that the comfort level is not there. Especially with the fans that cheer on the other team makes it that much more difficult.
So many times in history teams find a way to win on the other side to make a complete season. Sports has this illusion to many players and fans that playing on the road is a dreadful experience, but it doesn't have to be. Mental barriers perhaps is where it all comes down too. Take a look at the many iconic players who play sports, they show no fear playing into another arena nor there opponent, just the simple fact of having respect for the game they play.

Breaking the Loosing Streak !

Warriors have been plagued with loosing many of the games start of the season. Reason for being is the excuse of slow starts, but is that what we as fans believe or want to believe is the real reason. Sure teams loose games and its a common thing when you up against other teams. Its for how long teams loose for is a concern more than anything. Some may say that the fallen David Lee was a one big reason the team is faltering.Hopefully that isn't the case where the ball club is putting that kind of weight on the shoulders of one man. Seems a lot of NBA teams and even major pro sports seem to do the same associational connections to players and fans , idolizing one player to represent the team, which I feel is not good ingredients for the support of the team to work together.Lets just hope that things turn around soon, we all know that they will eventually win a game or two but to be consistent winning games is what will ultimately get the ball club the success we all are looking for.

Happy Holidays

The Sad Truth

Sad truth is that many teams that never get a winning percentage on the Field get cut and many coach's loose there value within any league they play in! Coach's are a commodity in some cases because when a team looses the first one the finger pointing gos to is the coach. Just in the case of the Forty Niners, they are contemplating this question right now. But realistically the team has issues and its not in the coach's control. Regardless the fans and media always want to cast out demons within any team to satisfy that urge to crucify someone within the organization to satisfy the NFL GODS.

Bad Boy Wanted ?

Many teams in the NBA have one player on their team that cause other teams to scratch there heads when playing against. Examples of some NBA attitudes are Charles Barkley who always seems to intimate other players on the paint. A big solid body to hold up the fort if you will , keep your team from being manipulated inside. Post up player if you must like a Malone style maybe. This is what what perhaps what the Warriors need to get teams thinking about our motives on the court? Just a thought since the warriors don't seem to sway other teams to think as an intimidating force , more rather than a offensive force than anything else. Offensive force that isn't so strong either. There could be so many factors to make up a successful team in the league , just that many successful teams utilize their talents so they can be successful night in and night out. I'm just thinking about consistency here winning some games !

Warriors and Knicks Preveiw Notes!

Warriors  7-4 (Home: 5-0) are up against the Knicks 4-8 (Road: 3-4) tonight at the Oracle Arena. Team had ample time to prepare themselves for this meeting. Many players want to think one game at a time , but in many fans perspective , its the whole season that comes to mind.Amar'e Stoudemire is optimistic that the Knicks are heading in the right direction, but need support from his team whom was recently acquired from the Suns. With Ellis and Curry at the start it sure will give the Knicks a hard time on the court but never doubt your opponent for a minute with anyone's lineup, surprises have come and gone from many teams that where underestimated. With Missed player David Lee has been reportedly on injured list and is going to be out for 3 to four games depending on his recovery time Lee initially had surgery last Friday after he cut the inside of his elbow in a nasty collision with the mouth of New York’s Wilson Chandler who left a fragment of a tooth in Lee’s arm. Lee is averaging 14.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 34.6 minutes this season so far.

Wet and Slippery

Gonna be a wet weekend and that means that many sports are gonna experience a difficult time running plays to get things going on the field for the San Francisco Forty Niners. Especially when every win counts more than ever. Niners have but 7 games left on the season, and if they can pull off winning every single one of them they would most defiantly be in contention for the playoffs. Sometimes the pressure is so great that they have to push there teammates to the brink to get some results this season. Positive notes is that with a promising QB on the helm it may be all we need for now with Troy, time will tell.  Go Niners!

Shark Bite!

Taking out the Division leading Kings could be a omen of things to come for the San Jose Sharks! They most certainly have with a 6-3 victory giving the sharks record improved to 7-1-2 with the victory. Taking advantage of every opportunity gave the Sharks the opportunity to take advantage of the penalty, scoring two quick goals. "We lose the faceoff, they shoot the puck and it's in our net," Kings coach Brian Murray said. "There was no opportunity to even get organized on the penalty kill. They were smart."
Sharks with a conscious is a scary thing in this league I can imagine considering how close the team has gotten last year to the Stanley Cup.
Keeping your eyes on the Hockey puck!

Niners Locker Room Talk

Its Apparent with the great success to the teams outlook with the Troy Smith Starting as there QB the Fans are happy. troy has most certainly demonstrated he is quite capable playing this position than any other reserved QB of the teams roster.“Well, as of right now, Smith will be the starter,” Mike Singletary said with a chuckle at the start of his Monday press conference. “We’re going to go with Troy.” Never have many people seen a display of great QB plays since the coming of Steve Young and Joe Montana based on his past performances on the field.. Perhaps its premature to say at this point which Troy has what it takes to take the San Francisco Forty Niners to a Playoff position, considering much of the season has been lost already. Maybe with some luck we can squeeze a position late in the season.

Fresh Start and Fresh Ownership

Golden State Warriors have gotten their fresh break with a new owner's( Peter Guber and Joe Lacob )  and a fresh look to start off the new year ! They have gotten away with some wins this season to start off on the right foot.  They have some elements to there game that needs to be looked at as far as rebounding and playing a solid defense. Seems the Warriors still have that plague of loosing games due to lack of better defense or careless ball handling. Beating the Key teams is what I believe with ultimately make or break this season. Teams of the likes of Boston and LA would most certainly shape a good perspective to the players attitude when winning within the leagues best.

Missing Pieces to the Championship puzzle?

Have the giants found all the missing pieces for these championship team this year? With Posey , Juan Urbie to name a few have shown to rise to the occasion getting the team where it is today! Giants have found a reason to get off to a good stat in the Series with 6 runs in later in the game to take the lead in the first game here in San Francisco. I found that the team has yet many obstacles to hurdle to become more secure within in the series by winning all there games at home and pull off at least one from Texas. Positioning themselves for the opposition is the what it comes down too.
By putting all the pieces together on the field the Giants will ultimately prevail with a championship that hasn't been won since 1954.Last nights Game was nothing more than inspirational to me, listening and watching our giants play a good game.

Santa Clara Forty Niners Postponed?

Press released that the projected stadium to be ready in 2015 rather than the 2012 projection ! Its also come to the attention of many that there has been some discussion on to the San Francisco Forty Niner's sharing the stadium with another NFL team! Whether it be a funding issue or just that the team just needs more national attention may not be beneficial to the overall outcome of fans expectations. These issues have yet to be rectified and resolved even with the time stamp on the project. The Volume of people on site are staggering numbers , which is in turn causing a zoning of law enforcement officials to make radical changes.
In conclusion the project Bart lines advancement to the silicon valley may also be a major reason for a delay for any just cause to hurry building a stadium as well, which I believe this issue is a major reason for delay.Without public transportation working in conjunction with the project, the project could ultimately fail. Not saying it would but its a good reason for concern but to the prospective fan who lives off the out-skirts of the bay, it would be.
Keeping a positive note onto what is going on off the field, Lets focus on what is going on, on the field ! Touchdowns for the fans in so many ways dos not always have to be on the field ones to get me cheering!

Childs First Game

Seeing through the eyes of a child, your whole perspective will change on how sports changing and molds the mind of our young children.Everything is so new and unexplored giving you a sense of Awe. What a perspective to think like a child in the world of sports , rather than an adult whose objectives seem to be tarnished by what the sports industry puts on its players. Gambling, Drugs, alcohol and women ...... the good and bad come together at some point and that's what gives us all a sweet and sour note in sports. Through a child's eyes they have really no grasp to what the bad has onto the sport because they have not experienced it them selves. So they would have more heart into any game they play ! That's why in many sports the draft starts at an early age because they have more desire.

Golden State Wasrriors Fresh New Look

Its going to be great to see the new Warriors on the court, with all the new threads that they are going to sport. Have you seen the new jerseys ? Not only this new look but a new Coach as well , Long time waiting , no Offense Don Nelson , Just the Bay Area needs a new vision and a fresh start to get our Warriors on a different track. With the whole NBA League getting a new look could be what the fans are looking for also a fresh outlook on the game and players. It all comes down to the fans perception of the team no matter what kind of changes have been made, cause you cant hide the fact that the Warriors need to get there act together. 2011 can be a season to remember with these chess moves in place, we will all see soon enough. Just by taking a short review of how the last 15 years have been like for the Warriors , we sure don't need a recap.

Niners Relation to Warriors

It was a game to remember with the game on the line in the last few minutes of the last quarter. Alex Smith was on top of his game throughout the opener. There was so much excitement to see Smith take the Niner's on top with his commanding leadership. Then Bang, lost in the last few minutes of the game all because of some bad decisions and perhaps bad coaching. Sometimes there is no real answer for games that where lost because there where so many reasons that it could have been.
The relationships to loss's like this are equivalent to the Golden state Warriors loosing games because of the one factor, and that would be the lead they have acquired in a game becomes diluted to the teams lack of desire to maintain it through more hard work to secure a win. Sports is always a subject of serious scrutiny and criticism , but only useful when its constructed criticism.

One Bright Spot for Don Nelson

Don Nelson tied Lenny Wilkens for the most wins by an NBA coach when the Golden State Warriors held off the Toronto Raptors. A record that is sought out for Don Nelson for a while and is soon to achieve soon, But that may be the only thing keeping Don Nelson smiling cause by season end this team may be departing with this coach and starting fresh literally. Its no surprise that this team has had so many hardships with so many historic bad decisions its made a mockery of there team. The warriors are soon to be redeemed from the boiling pits of lost seasons , never making the playoffs. To top it all off the team is for sale , that will turn the tides of the chemistry of this team for sure. A long time coming

Cavs New Aquiqusitions

After seeing the last game the Clevland Cavs had with the Charlotte hornets I had I actually could breath a little better knowing that Lebron Has some talent on his team to maybe get somewhere in the League. Maybe a dream though , depending on the consistency of Shaq, and Jamision. With the full court run downs, Im really impressed with the ball getting around to the players that are open and utilizing the opportunities. If
only the Warriors had such chemistry on the court maybe that would make a difference as well? To many factors weighing into why the some teams are just the way they are but the Cavs are on the right track as far as I can see.

Deadline for Trades have Passed

The Trades have been done with some swaps here and there. The only problem is what benefit of these trades if the Golden State Warriors did not take advantage of them. Why haven't they done anything about it? I do know that there was a trade on the table for O J Mayo for Ellis, but that never materialized and that was the only rumor trade for them.
One of the worst records in the NBA , and they haven't done anything. Its so sad the way management has handled the issues with the matters to make this team at least contention for the playoffs or at least get someone what close. Warriors do have players that are very good and talented , but just not with the warriors success. Time for drastic change maybe necessary to think about the future of the team in order to become a more productive team. I would guess the warriors are content with failure on the court for years to come. But ironically I care about the teams success so much that Im willing to wait till this teams starts to shape up into a force to be reckoned with. Just wait till next year, Yeah I know ill be saying that on my death bed.

Jordans Calling

Michael Jordan is inquiring on purchasing the NBA Franchise Bobcats, But seems there might be some shoe strings that need to be tied first. Other investor in the organization are in pursuit of the same agenda to get control of this team, only time will tell if this follows through. If it dos well see more of MJ on the courts getting involved in the teams game plan as far as organizational issues are concerned. Been a long time coming for Jordan to get in the right mix to fall into the right position to acquire a team.
Bobcats coach Larry Brown says that Jordan is "doing his best to put himself in a position to get the team. ... He wants it badly.'' Some sort of deal is going to be done in two month according to the commissioner of the NBA. Time is ticking!

Appreciation To Athletes of the World

With the Winter Olympics upon us we must take the time to appreciate all the athletes of the world who shape our perception of the sports in general. With all the talent they bring to the table we could not enjoy watching them, and there great abilities. So many countries  that are going to display there talents for us in this winter Olympics. There are some players that are no longer with us also that have fallen due to injury or medical condition, that we should honor them as well for there will to be there and show there country and the world they have the heart to represent there country to compete among the best of the World.
It was a rough start to this Winter Olympics with the many complications involved, the protests, weather, and all the preparations involved. But most tragically the untimely death of the Georgian who passed while preparing him self for his team. We all honor him and his country. This post is dedicated for the people of there country and of course Kumaritashvili.

NBA HOPE

The NBA and its players' association will contribute $1 million to support the relief efforts in Haiti.
They said Friday they would join with UNICEF and other relief agencies to provide assistance, and Haiti native Samuel Dalembert of the Philadelphia 76ers has taped a public service announcement for UNICEF encouraging fans to contribute.
Its always reassuring to see professional players getting invovled with charity events and disaster relief events, making a diffrence of there own. Exspecialy with the recent events over seas in Haiti with that earthquake that devastated that areas region. There's hope yet for many whom are very unfortunate in many parts of the world who think they are alone when a disaster strikes. The U.S. has very quick to give some assistance in any way possible to help anyway possible. Hopefully with the world watching they would see that there is hope for everyone when a disaster strikes the heart of home.

Nba Playoff Contensions

It would be quite premature to say who is going to win a championship in the NBA , although something has caught my eye. And that is the direction where of where all the power house teams are Congregating. If I had to make a choice what conference would win a title it would be a Eastern Conference teams, Here we have Lebron James, Kevin Garnett on a mission like Im sure like many teams, but not with the same heart that they play with. Champions are always the players that give more of them selves on the court than any other, that is why we see that desire displayed on the court day in and day out. Although many predictions are nothing more than a meaning less work of hoopla. Whats your HOOPLA.

Gilbert Arenas Future in the NBA???

Not to long ago Gilbert Arenas was on the hard floor, now hes on the floor of the court house, a place where it seems many professional players end up.The NBA has not suprisingly suspended him indefinitely. As part of a plea deal, prosecutors agreed not to ask for more than six months in jail for Arenas. He will be sentenced by Superior Court Judge Robert E. Morin. Morin could sentence Arenas to anything from probation to a maximum of five years in jail.
Arenas, a three-time All-Star, earlier acknowledged storing four unloaded guns in his locker, saying he wanted to keep them away from his young children and didn't know it was a violation of the city's strict gun laws. The NBA didn't comment Friday, while the players' union offered support, with executive director Billy Hunter saying: "The Players Association will continue to make all of its resources available to Gilbert. We remain committed to aggressively representing him in the same fashion that we represent every player in the league."
Arenas was averaging team highs of 22.6 points and 7.2 assists this season for a team in last place in the NBA's Southeast Division.Stern was particularly upset that Arenas repeatedly joked about the matter with reporters and on Twitter. Arenas at one point said: "I'm a goofball and that's what I am, so even doing something like this, I'm going to make fun of it and that's how I am."
