When ever the Golden State Warriors play a team that has a ex player at they get handed a loss . In relation to last nights game where they played the Phoenix Suns and lost to the sportsman's ship of Jason Richardson. The game was very offensive minded to the get go. Rather interesting game to watch when players can run and gun, but there is a point in the game you would think that defense needs to be steeped up. Theirs no game loss to be more felt than to get beaten by ex team mates. Seems more like a revenge statement than anything else. Monta Ellis put up some big numbers , but not enough to sustain a win.
There are many ex-warriors around the league that have become superstars on other teams and made the Warriors crack. Some of which are Latrell Speewell, Antwain Jamison, Jason Richardson, Mickael Pietrus, Derek Fisher, Mike Dunleavy, Troy Murphy, Al Harrington, Gilbert Arenas. Players that once played with the Warriors usually do much better on other teams for some reason or other. The Warriors for some reason where not able to utilize the skills of players. Expectations may just be to high when players come into the league, and they just get frustrated with the program they are in and just want a different perspective. Or the Warriors Coach and team management just cut players because of slow progress. Whatever the issues are, it must be a common issue in the league where players are let go regardless. New fresh blood comes in the league plus players retiring every year and that is a major reason for players loosing there spots on the floor.
Warrior fans that come to games or watch there team play often feel that the ex-warriors seem to get under there skin when they get beaten by them.
Oh and go WARRIORS!!!!
